T.S. Eliot

Thomas Stearns Eliot (1888–1965) was a pioneer and one of the leading figures in the English literary circle in the twentieth century. Born in Missouri, he was a celebrated poet, essayist and playwright, his revolutionary works reshaped the critical approach to literature by challenging long-held beliefs.
